Monday, January 08, 2007 ::: HAPPY 2007 Can't believe it took me this long to check in again - and it's already 2007! You know I've been aching to write since there's been so much going on during the holidays, but somehow it's not so easy for several reasons - some pretty obvious ones, among all the other less obvious ones. But it's a bit too late to comment on the year 2006 now isn't it? And I've thought of making a list of my favorite albums/songs of 2006 - but I've probably namechecked all the songs/artists I like a zillion times already so I won't bore you with another list. Resolutions for 2007? Maybe that'd work - but to be honest with you I still haven't thought of this yet. Maybe next week. Or the week after. But then... it's almost February by then. BREAKING NEWS I made it on TV!!! Finally! I'm on TV! Yes, according to my friend, I actually appeared for 1/2 second on TV during the Nokia New Years Eve TV broadcast. So that's my 0.5 second of fame! And from a picture that my friend showed me, right beside his eye-catching 'HK HEART AK' banner, is an even more eye-catching pair of hands, holding a camera - and the very sexy pair of hands in question just happen to be... mine. Song of the moment that kickstarts 2007 is Kylie Minogue's "White Diamond" from her Showgirl Homecoming Live CD recorded at her recent show in Sydney. The song itself is sublime, and together with the fact that Kylie's taking this track to her stage in all her glamor and glory once again - "Like a pure white diamond I'll shine on and on and on and on" I don't even have to describe how amazing the result is.
